Mat classes are an aerobic series of floor exercises designed to create uniform body development.
Key benefits:
Create long, lean muscles
Increase core strength and stamina
Improve functional body alignment
What to expect:
During a mat class you will work out laying on your back, on your side, on your front and standing. I will lead you through the movements and challenge the assembled group. You might also work with small props like a rubber band or power circles to improve your Pilates practice.

Three class levels: |
|
|
Level 1:
This level works on the fundamental understanding of your body and the Pilates method. Learn the basic skills in a gentle way: body landmarks, breath control, abdominal support, spinal alignment, correcting physical deficits. Learn the basic Pilates exercise vocabulary.
Level 2:
Increase your repertoire of Pilates movements. Grow your experience of core control and stabilize your breathing control in the flow of each exercise. Smooth your transition between exercises.
Level 3:
Step up the challenges for yourself with more complicated skills and faster pace. Strengthen your powerhouse and mental control. |
