Mat classes are an aerobic series of floor exercises designed to create uniform body development.


Key benefits:

Create long, lean muscles

Increase core strength and stamina

Improve functional body alignment


What to expect: During a mat class you will work out laying on your back, on your side, on your front and standing. I will lead you through the movements and challenge the assembled group. You might also work with small props like a rubber band or power circles to improve your Pilates practice.

Three class levels:


Level 1:

This level works on the fundamental understanding of your body and the Pilates method. Learn the basic skills in a gentle way: body landmarks, breath control, abdominal support, spinal alignment, correcting physical deficits. Learn the basic Pilates exercise vocabulary.

Level 2:

Increase your repertoire of Pilates movements. Grow your experience of core control and stabilize your breathing control in the flow of each exercise. Smooth your transition between exercises.

Level 3:

Step up the challenges for yourself with more complicated skills and faster pace. Strengthen your powerhouse and mental control.

If you are new to Pilates or not sure about your level, please contact us. You can always book a private lesson with our teachers, so we can tailor our instructions to your individual needs.
